I'm trying to turn a paper binder full of inventory and pricing into a database in Libreoffice. Install Configure Inadyn Linux. Making a new data table and filling in all the inventory is the easy part, but I have been trying to make it possible to use the now-databased inventory to populate an invoice. For example, I have an item 'Widget A' which has a name, description and price in the database. Is there a way, through a form or report or something, so I can search the database, add Widget A to the form/report, add the number of units of Widget A I am selling and have the form/report automatically multiply the price of the item by the units and produce a total, possibly adding the totals together for Widget A x 5, Widget B x 3, etc? I guess I am trying to make a more automated spreadsheet but I am having trouble with the part where I need to create the form or report (see I don't even know which one I need). If you guys have any recommendations on tutorials, information resources or anything else to help guide me in the right direction I would be very grateful.
I am considering setting up openerp 7.x for a client. He want to have his documents with his logo, address, bank info, etc. Is this possible using a libreoffice document as template? In openerp 5.x I remember something about this functionality but am not sure. It has been a while. Any help greatly appreciated. Steal This Sound Ebook Reader.
